Angel Tree Distribution
In partnership with Toys for Tots and Friendship Chapel Baptist Church we host an annual Christmas Angel Tree that serves 506+ children from 190 families. This outreach effort includes children from Wake, Franklin, and Louisburg counties. We provided toys, clothes and books to the children for the holiday season.
In an effort to ensure the academic success of the children of our community, Hope House along with several community partners collected 300 book bags with supplies for children ages Pre-K to 12th grade. We gave them away during an in person giveaway. We delivered 30 bags to Wake Forest Elementary School, and 30 to the Wake Forest Community Meals Program. The Wake Forest Lions Club was in attendance and gave free eye exams to the children, as well as reading glasses for the adults.
